She did LLM & PhD from Faculty of Law, BHU. Topic of her Ph.D. thesis was “Contempt of Court: Democracy and Judicial accountability”. She started her teaching career in the year 2001 in Agra College; Agra then moved to
D.D.U. Gorakhpur in 2002 and joined Law Faculty BHU in August 2002. She has been an Editorial member of Annual Report of BHU and a Member of Alumni Cell. She has more than 11 articles to her credit. She has authored one Book titled “Contempt of Court, Freedom of Speech Exploring Gender Biases”. She has attended 15 National and 5 International seminars till date. She is a visiting faculty of Centre for Woman’s Studies and Development, Agrasen Kanya
P.G. College, varanasi. Her Area of specialization is Criminal Law and Criminology. Her areas of special interest are Legal Status of Women and Vulnerable Class & Feminism.
